Image, which is a feeling others have about you, can be considered a subjective feeling. We have different images in different places, maybe in a company you come across as a lazy employee, but maybe in some community organizations you are someone who is passionate about organizing.

So in the real world, we have a lot of images. What about in the cyber world? Our image is not so much so simple as it is very much so.
WHY? Just think about the possibility that I am an unenthusiastic person on certain picture-based social networking sites (e.g.: instagram), and because I may not be a big fan of posting pictures, others may think I am a person who just reads and doesn’t post.
But what if a text-based social networking site? I’d probably be more enthusiastic about posting, so people would be more impressed with me. So, knowing that we have so many images, is it important to run our image? My answer is “Yes”.
Many people know that public relations is not a simple profession, as the name implies, public relations means maintaining a good relationship with the public, who often build and maintain an image for organizations and companies in the community.
Especially in a society where information spreads quickly and widely, one would be notorious in the event of a public relations disaster that would damage one’s image.
So I have great respect and admiration for this profession, because it is not simple. There are also many companies in business that hire employees to maintain their image on the Internet, and since this creates business opportunities, it has its importance.
First of all, people who have a good network image will have a loyal following. A lot of fans like their idols because they have positive sides. Maybe it’s the regular release of positive energy that make them seem attractive?

What positive effect will a loyal fan base have on us? It is to promote our images, which is also called word of mouth. For example, I run an online blog that attracts a loyal group of fans, and through them sharing my posts on different social media, the power of the crowd will attract other people to come and watch or become my fans, it’s like a snowball effect, my popularity will get bigger and bigger, so I can become more and more famous.
Secondly, a good image can reduce the chance of being maligned. In the cyber world speech is geared towards the public and different people have different opinions, so there is always room for discussion as our speech will always be criticized, especially if the speech is not a major right or wrong event.
But all in all, if a person’s cyber image is more positive, his speech will be criticized in a more moderate form, and vice versa if his cyber image is bad, he may be criticized like a spitting horse.
However, no matter what the objections are, as a publisher , one should humbly accept and listen to people, change what one has and ignore what one does not. The most important thing is to listen and learn from each other with an open mind.
